Article Processing Charge

IDR 350,000

≈ USD 19 (approximate — see note below), charged only upon acceptance.

Agrifood Research and Enterprise (Agrifood Res. Enterp.) does not charge a fee to submit a manuscript. Once a manuscript is formally accepted following peer review, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 350,000 applies, covering the cost of editorial management, copyediting, typesetting, DOI registration, and permanent open access hosting of the article.

When the Fee Applies

The APC is invoiced only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. No payment is requested at submission, during peer review, or as a condition for a manuscript to be considered.

Payment Does Not Guarantee Acceptance

Editorial decisions are made solely on the scientific and scholarly merit of a manuscript, based on peer review. The APC is not, and will never be, a factor in the decision to accept or reject a manuscript.

Fee Waivers

Waivers or partial waivers of the APC may be granted at the editorial team's discretion — for example, for invited contributions or in cases of genuine financial hardship. Requests should be addressed to the editorial team upon acceptance and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

The USD figure shown above is an approximate reference only, calculated at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of publication of this page; the exact amount payable by authors outside Indonesia will be calculated at the prevailing rate at the time of invoicing.
