Agrifood Research and Enterprise (Agrifood Res. Enterp.) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Atas Meja. The journal provides a scholarly platform at the intersection of digital technology and economic enterprise within agriculture and food systems, welcoming original research, short communications, and critical reviews that advance both fields.

Track I

Agri-Food Informatics

Digital technologies, computational systems, and data-driven approaches applied to agriculture and food production.

Track II

Agri-Food Economics & Business

Agricultural and food economics, agribusiness management, and value chain development.

Each track is guided by a dedicated section editor. The journal particularly welcomes work that bridges the two — using technology as a driver of economic and enterprise outcomes in agri-food systems.

ARE is managed by an editorial team combining expertise in agricultural informatics, agribusiness, and natural product/agricultural science. The journal is published twice a year, in January and August.
